Phil Norris has just joined machineMD as Head of Commercial Strategy. He looks towards the launch of the NeurOphthalmoscope by planning how machineMD can best provide value to Neurologists and Ophthalmologists through building a customer-centric commercial team. Through this very early involvement, it is possible to position the doctor and the patient at the centre of the organisation from the very beginning.
Phil has long been interested in the potential applications of virtual reality in digital health and is an advisor to Virtual Switzerland. Developing a clinical application with one of the most advanced VR headsets is very exciting for him, and he is very impressed that machineMD is already diving deep into artificial intelligence based on real clinical data.
The next milestones for him are the product launches in various markets. Along the way he is looking forward to building relationships with medical experts, medical societies, and collaborating with other industry specialists.
Phil Norris brings a decade of working with pharma, biotech, and medtech companies, particularly at the intersection of digital health and artificial intelligence. Most recently he worked with an award-winning medical education company, VirtaMed, while completing an Executive MBA at the International Institute for Management Development (IMD).
